NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Marlboro Fire District No. 1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the legal voters if the Fire District No. 1, in the Township of Marlboro, County of Monmouth, and State of New Jersey, that a Special Meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners will be held at the Fire House, Highway 79 and School Road West in the Township of Marlboro on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider authorization of the Board of Commissioners of Marlboro Township Fire District No. 1 to contract for, and to purchase, a newly constructed rescue pumper/fire apparatus to replace 2 older fire fighting equipments at a future date to be determined, and at a cost not to exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) payable from available fund surpluses and without the need for bonding or borrowing.
Polls will be open for voting from 6:00 pm through 9:00 pm.
